This incubator campaign was for the TLC-40 Eco Series II Baby Warm model
I initially found North Texas WildLife Center for my daughter and I to volunteer at. Little did I know how much the organization would change my life and make my heart smile. Every day at the Wildlife center is a new hands-on experience, helping various native Texas Wildlife. From birds, squirrels, armadillos, opossums, skunks, raccoons and other even bobcats. Being there weekly wasn't enough. I found myself trying to volunteer for additional shifts and the Wildlife center became my happy place. I was asked if I wanted to become an at home rehabber, specifically with a neonate raccoon and without hesitation said "Yes". Our first neonate raccoon, Sly, was challenging to say the least, he struggled to take a bottle. With lots of patience and tons of tears, he finally he got it! Watching him thrive and move into the next stages of his life filled my heart with so much joy. I was so honored to be there for his release day. Watching him climb that first tree was most incredible experiences. And that was just the beginning. I'd never wish for a raccoon to be orphaned but if one is, I'm here ready to open my heart and home.
