I got into rehab because I wanted to help make a difference in the world – My heart couldn’t handle how majority of the animals that are brought into rehab end up there due to human related incidents, hit by car, poisoned, shot, window strike, etc. Throughout my years rehabbing, I have been able to help over 10,000 animals that have come into our care – putting my blood, sweat, tears, and love into these animals to help give them a second chance back in the wild. Rehab has its highs and its lows, anyone within the field knows that it tugs at your heart and can sometimes bring you down – but getting to see these animals get a second chance at a wild life makes up for all of it. I can’t wait to see what the next years will teach me in this field, and to have the ability to save more animals!
