Nancy C.
This incubator campaign was for the TLC-40 Eco Baby Warm Extra model
Nancy has always had a heart for animals. She rescued her first orphaned animal when she was 13 and later became a veterinary assistant. At the clinic where she worked, people would often bring in orphaned baby birds, squirrels or cottontails and the vets would put them in a stainless steel cage with dog food on the floor. At that time Nancy didn't yet know how to care for the wild orphans but she did know that the cage/dog food method wasn't going to work. She began learning how to care for wildlife and now, 24 years later, she cares for all small mammals and specializes in raccoons, skunks, fox and woodchucks. Nancy's mother had told her as a young girl never to touch wild animals because she might get germs and bugs. Nancy's so glad she never listened and at 71 years of age, is still "touching" all wild animals who need a helping hand.
