Pamela started rehabbing and rescuing squirrels a little over 12 years ago. She was in a local restaurant having lunch with a friend. A man came in to the bar with three baby squirrels in a box. He was selling them. $10 apiece or a pitcher of beer. These babies barely had their eyes open, and the people who were wanting to buy them were extremely undesirable. Pamela offered him 100 bucks for all three which, she says, was a stupid move because it was part of her rent money. Needless to say she went home with the squirrels, found the instructions on the Chris’s Squirrels & More website for how to feed them. All three grew healthy and happy and Pamela has been rehabbing squirrels in need ever since.
