How has your first Baby Warm incubator helped you?
The pinkies I have rehabbed since I got my incubator have done so much better. They put on weight faster and I didn’t lose Annie this season. I know the season is not done and this probably will change just because of the odds but so far so good and I know it’s because of the continual control environment. I’ve done this now for 13 years I do not know how I ever survived without an incubator. I’m so very thankful to have this is part of my rescue efforts.
How will this additional incubator help?
Having a major better that I can use for traveling will be a game changer. Currently I try to use heat disk or plug-in pads. Neither one of those regulate the temperature properly to ensure safe delivery of these precious little babies. When I pick up one that is only a day or two old I know that I cannot regulate the temperature properly for transportation. You can try to simulate the constant temperature but it just isn’t gonna happen without the proper equipment.
