Peg's love of caring for wildlife started when she was just a little girl. Her dog would bring home bunnies gently in her mouth and it was up to Peg's family to rehab them. Later in life, she lived in the country in Upstate NY and had plenty of wildlife to care for there. When Peg moved to Virginia, she joined the Virginia Aquarium Stranding Response Team. After 9 years of rescuing sea turtles, seals and marine mammals, she returned to her first love and joined a wildlife rescue group. She now cares for bunnies, opossums, squirrels and flying squirrels and is a "very happy lady!"
