How will this additional incubator help?

Sometimes rehabilitators like myself are required to transport fragile wildlife for various reasons, I.e. veterinary care (over an hour away at Cornell), rescue, transfer to another rehabilitator, etc. The incubator I fundraised for previously will be at my home permanently to provide care for orphaned and injured wildlife. This incubator is able to be used during transport and can be plugged into a car outlet or a regular outlet! This incubator will ensure that babies are kept warm during transport and/or immediately upon being rescued which can be essential to keeping the most fragile wildlife alive. Babies have to be warmed to their correct body temperature before they can receive fluids or food so the faster we are able to warm them the faster we can provide additional life-saving care!
