I started as an intern and then worked my way up to full - time as a wildlife care technician at a center. I am currently working on getting my permit and in doing so am helping my center upgrade protocols, procedures and equipment to better serve our wildlife patients. I got into this field because I care for wildlife, the environment and want to make a difference.

When I am not at work I enjoy hiking, birdwatching, baking and cuddling with my pet rabbit Sylvie. My family has been supportive in my wildlife rehabilitation journey and I enjoy spending time with them when I can.
