Robert found his first orphaned baby raccoon when he was 11 years old. Robert raised her until her release, then she just continued to live on his family's property and would meet him at the driveway everyday after school. At that point he was hooked. Robert became a junior firefighter at the age of 16. He has been saving lives for 20 years -- human, and animals. He switched over to law enforcement, but is still helping and protecting others, including wildlife.
