Rose C.
This incubator campaign was for the TLC-40 Eco Baby Warm Extra model
It all started with a momma mallard laying her eggs near Rose's driveway and some raccoons eating all of them except one. Being a nurse for 20 years, Rose decided she couldn't just leave the abandoned egg. Thanks to her efforts, a duckling named Dusty came into the world. Not longer after, Rose contracted a rare disease and had to retire from nursing. During this time of multiple surgeries and excruciating pain, she felt like her only reason to get out of bed was Dusty. Rose eventually found out that having a migratory bird is against the law so she researched and obtained her state and federal permit. "Dusty's Haven" was born. Rose is now one of very few rehabbers who rehab baby ducks - often more than 300 each year. She truly believes that God has a plan for us all and this is hers, all because of a little egg that changed her life forever.
