How has your first Baby Warm incubator helped you?
I use my incubator almost daily for almost every animal I take in. It helps stabilize shock in sick and injured animals and, of course, keeps my orphan babies warm until they can regulate their temperature on their own. Most every animal I take in spends at least a day or two in my incubator.
How will this additional incubator help?
When I receive a new animal, they are often cold. While driving, I may have to hold the animal or recover it to try to keep it warm. Then when I get home I can start the process of warming the animal up before I can feed it. A lot of babies come in near death from dehydration and starvation. With a portable incubator, I can start that process earlier and get that baby rehydrated and fed earlier and hopefully have a better outcome.
