How will this additional incubator help?

Often, wildlife rehabbers get calls from the public who have found baby or injured wildlife and can’t get them to a rehabber themselves. We go to their location to assess what’s happening and often end up taking the animal or animals home for rehabilitation. These drives can be 2 hours away or more! Using a portable incubator for transporting them is the most effective way to begin to immediately warming the animals. This will allow further treatment like fluid therapy or feeding to begin sooner since travel time was spent normalizing body temperature. Another situation the portable incubator would be used for, is sick or injured wildlife found out in the rain, sometimes for days! Giving them immediate warmth could be lifesaving for these animals that are so compromised.
