Samantha C.
Samantha first started volunteering taking care of animals at a local nature center when she was 13 years old. From there, her passion for animals, specifically for wildlife, blossomed. She volunteered at the nature center all through high school and was hired at the facility when she was 17 years old. After high school, she knew that she wanted to dedicate her life to saving wildlife so she went to UConn and got her bachelors degree in Wildlife Conservation, then became a certified rehabber shortly after graduating from college. During the summers, Samantha spent time working at various rehabiliatation centers, from the nature center where she started out, to a rhino orphanage in South Africa, and a koala sanctuary in Australia. She is now settled in Connecticut, caring for the native wildlife that she loves.
