When Sami was 8 years old, she found an injured squirrel, and ever since then, she has wanted to protect every little critter who needs it. When Covid hit and she was furloughed from her long-time job, Sami took the surprise free time as an opportunity to get the training she needed to open her own wildlife rehab facility. She was licensed in August of 2020, and since then she has rescued over 100 animals, half of whom would have benefitted from a quality incubator.
