A very good friend of Sandy's has been rehabbing for years and Sandy always enjoyed watching the journey of the animals until they were released. She knew she wanted to do the same thing so she began volunteering and has been caring for animals ever since. Sandy especially loves seeing the squirrels snack and play in the trees after they have been released, knowing she had a part in making it happen. Sandy says that rehabbing wildlife and returning them to the wild has been one of her greatest joys.
