Sheida S.
Sheida's mother, a political refugee from Iran, was a nurse back in their home country. After seeking asylum and moving to the United States, she was unable to continue her practice as a nurse. Wanting to continue to help and nurture, she found a local wildlife rehab center, where she began to volunteer. Sheida was raised around the wild animals her mother would rehabilitate, and through this, grew to pursue it as a passion of her own. Now, at her own home, Sheida has her own wildlife clinic in the basement of her home. Her clinic has enclosures for birds, as well as the occasional squirrel, or opossum. The bulk of her summer is spent rehabilitating hatchling and nestling birds. These babies would benefit significantly from a Baby Warm incubator, which would be able to regulate their temperature needs.
