Shelli S.

$499 of $499 raised

Shelli lives on a small farm and over the years has had just about every kind of pet one can have. Anyone who knows her knows she is crazy about animals, frequently taking in unwanted pets. She is certified in Animal Assisted Therapy in Education and has enjoyed taking her dog to her classroom. Since Shelli's husband refuses to buy her a zoo, she needed a new way to channel her love for animals and found it while watching "Northwoods Law." In the show the wildlife officers frequently take an injured animal to a wildlife rehabber. Shelli sat down one night after a few episodes and started researching how to become a wildlife rehabilitator in her state. An hour later she was enrolled in her first class. She says that the only good thing about a global pandemic is all the time she was able to spend at home figuring out how to put what she learned into practice. She had an amazing first year and could not think of a better way to focus her love for animals. An incubator will help Shelli with the most fragile babies.
