Sherry H.

As a young child growing up on a farm, Sherry was always finding animals that needed assistance, even if sometimes it wasn't really needed. Her love for animals and wildlife rehabilitation blossomed during college when she was an intern at the Wildlife Center of Virginia. After college, Sherry decided to pursue her goal of becoming a state licensed wildlife rehabilitator with the eventual goal of opening an education center. The center hasn't come to fruition (yet!) but in her 15th year of rehabbing, Sherry cares for opossum, squirrels, woodchuck, rabbit, snakes and turtles. While the education center might not be real quite yet, Sherry knows that education starts at home. She's passing on her love of all things natural and wildlife to her sons.
