One day Sonya picked up a turtle that had been hit by a car. Her roommate at the time told her to take it to a vet where they did wildlife rehab (she volunteered there). After meeting everyone at the facility, Sonya signed up to volunteer right then and there. It was such a fulfilling and educational experience both in knowledge and spirit. She was hooked, started running the hotline, going out on calls to pick up injured or sick animals, fostering orphaned bunnies, feeding hawks & owls, cleaning cages etc. Sonya wants to contribute and do her part as this is her passion. Let's get her the incubator she needs to care for fragile wildlife babies.
