Stephanie K.

After graduating with a degree in zoo science, Stephanie was looking for a job in the zoo / environmental field working with animals. She applied for a job at a local wildlife rehab center and after her first day, she was hooked. Stephanie now cares for birds, mammals, reptiles and amphibians -- over 1000 each year. She feels that it's her life's work to help wild animals have a second chance, and to be their voice. Stephanie's love of wildlife starts at home as she and her husband have passed on their passion and respect for animals to their daughters. Together they do all they can to make a difference for all wildlife in NW Indiana.
