I have always loved animals and after hearing people talk about finding sick or injured animals I decided I wanted to help to treat them and hopefully to return them back to the wild. I started by getting experience with resident animals at a local nature center and after a volunteering there they asked me if I wanted to help in the wildlife clinic. I was honored, and excited and started right away. I was able to get experience with them and after a few years I started working on my own but still occasionally volunteer at the Nature Center wildlife clinic to get as much experience as I can.
