Theresa lost her mother and sister to a drunk driver at age 3, leaving her with a loss that could never heal, but she realized she could relate to baby animals that had their mother killed. She grew up on a hobby farm in the country where many animals were dumped. She took them in to help save them -- from kittens to Foxes and baby fawns. Theresa watched many friends who also worked in the veterinary field but did not want to help rehab wildlife. She knew it was her calling. She says that helping a soul that is broken and simply wants to be given a chance at life is an amazing feeling when you put them back into the wild to be free.
