I was raised in a home where my mother took in every orphaned or injured animal and she always let me help and taught me what she was doing and why. When I grew up and moved out on my own I knew I wanted to work with animals professionally but God had other plans for my life, I had children and a career in animals wasn’t in the cards for me. Many animals found their way to me through friends who knew my background and before I knew it I was taking care of all sorts of wildlife. It was on a very small scale until 6 years ago when my husband and I purchased our own small business and now I have the freedom to care for all the babies that come my way. But as word spreads so does the numbers I get and this incubator will be extremely helpful in my efforts to save and rehabilitate wildlife. Helping those who have no voice makes my heart happy and I wouldn’t trade it for anything!
