When Trish was 9 years old she raised money to help baby fur seals and just never stopped caring. She has always felt the need to help animals -- it is the only thing she ever wanted to do with her life. For a time, she worked in the wildlife field with species found worldwide, but felt the pull to focus on animals closer to home. She worked as the rehab director for a large facility but her passion now is to work with a small group of professionals to build a small but impactful center -- something greatly needed in an area with a high volume of wildlife in need of help. They assist shorebirds, raptors, squirrels, bats, skunks, songbirds, as many as 800 each year. Incubators are so critical for babies and weak patients and can make the difference between life and death. As a fledgling center, Trish hopes they will be able to start with the proper equipment right from the beginning. Her philosophy is that no living thing should have to experience fear or suffering and she has devoted her life to making sure of it.
