How has your first Baby Warm incubator helped you?
I had gotten a hypothermic young mouse. I was able to warm the mouse up slowly and he recovered nicely. I had gotten the incubator late in the season and am expecting it to get lots of use this coming spring. Having the incubator gives me more confidence that a baby isn't going to climb to an area in the cage and not be able to get back to the heat as well as an immobile baby getting to much heat from the heating pads I had been using.
How will this additional incubator help?
During baby season we get inundated with calls. Having a second incubator will be wonderful to be able to help more babies at once. Having the portable incubator will be a life saver as most babies come to us hypothermic. Sometimes they travel an hour to get to us, Sometimes they are dropped off at my place of business. Having the second incubator for the car means it can be brought with me where ever I am. The critical time it takes to get these poor creatures warmed up is greatly shortened. More little lives can be saved.
