When Wendy's daughter found an orphaned baby possum, Wendy just knew it was too small to be without its mother. She found a rehabber and was so impressed by her work that she joined the group immediately. 9 years later, Wendy cares for squirrels, chipmunks, rabbits, mice and baby songbirds - about 300 each year, often more. When she's not helping the animals, she loves helping to educate kids about the importance of wildlife.
